Employee Induction

An organization or site specific Manual Handling Induction Manual will be developed for you to use when inducting a new employee to your organisation. The manual includes all the items you need including a presentation, comprehensive training notes and a questionnaire which is presented in an easy reference folder. You will also receive all materials on CD. The training promotes self-management and safety principles and includes information on:

• Basic Anatomy and Biomechanics
• Risk Management – basic principles
• Five key manual handling postures
• Four key manual handling principles
• Basic exercise advice to reduce the risk of injury.

The package can be provided to individuals or in a group setting where they will go through the theoretical element of manual handling in preparation for attending the Level 1 training session, which includes the practical component.
