Level 2: Specific Area (Competency Assessed)

This course focuses on ensuring employees can integrate safe habits, as discussed in Level 1, into the performance of their daily tasks. Courses have high practical content relevant to the subject matter and are based on ‘technique prompts’ and site-based manual handling best practice. Competency assessment of theory and practical is included.

Level 2 consists of 2 distinct components – training modules of 2-hour duration for groups of up to 6 employees, then an individual competency assessment of approximately 30 minutes duration for each employee. This course is specific to the tasks performed by the employee, for example, operating machines or loading/unloading product.
